Promoting responsible development, conservation and use of Oregon's land and water resources.

Incorporated 1992, Oregon Water Coalition is a group of individuals and organizations whose business directly or indirectly relies upon the economic success of irrigated agriculture in Oregon. Collectively, we seek to accomplish each of the following:

  • Promote responsible development, conservation and use of water.
  • Preserve and safeguard water rights.
  • Assist and advocate for water users.
  • Secure assistance of agencies, legislators and governing bodies.

Bridging the gap between rural and urban communities.

Nothing poses a greater threat to our nation's future than the cultural gap which now separates rural America from it's cities.

Until there are bridges of understanding to link rural and urban Oregon, agriculture will continue to face crisis after crisis and one make-shift political solution after another.

Further education and open dialogue is clearly needed.
